Heat Protection in the Desert

Coatings for jumbo glass formats right in the middle of the Saudi Arabian Desert: Grenzebach constructed a high performance turnkey plant and installed it on location in record time. Production started after only 5 months. The plant coats up to 15 million sqm (~160 million sqft) of glass per year. The heat protection glazing keeps the heat out and cool air in the building. It is used for high-rises, large glass facades or for simple windows.

Grenzebach supplies architectural glass coating plants both for heat protection applications (Low-E for regions with temperate climate) as well as sun protection (Solar Control for areas with high solar radiation e.g. desert regions).
